Senior Payroll Consultant

Roles and responsibilities

As a Senior Payroll Consultant, you will handle more complex HR assignments for clients and support the Belsberg team with your expertise. You work autonomously, provide expert advice, and serve as a role model for less experienced colleagues. You are responsible for managing challenging payroll projects and ensuring client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing complex payroll administration and tasks.
  • Advising clients and internal teams on social legislation and payroll processes.
  • Working autonomously and serving as a role model for less experienced colleagues.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in payroll processes.
  • Sharing specialized knowledge and providing internal training sessions.
  • Coaching and mentoring new employees.
  • Acting as the point of contact for escalations and complex issues.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of strategic HR projects.

Competence profile

  • Several years of experience in payroll or relevant education.
  • Proficiency in multiple payroll software programs and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
  • Strong knowledge of social and labor legislation with insight into expert processes.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English and/or French.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills.
  • Proactive attitude and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coach and mentor others.
